Hey, I'm Jack!

Jack Power Constructions is pretty much me in a nutshell — what you see is what you get. Before I got my own builder's licence, I spent years supervising builds in the $12–15 million range, so I know what real quality looks like, and I'm not about to cut corners to shave a few dollars off a price.

I started this business because I was sick of seeing homeowners promised the world and left with a result that didn't match the vision — or a builder who got hard to reach the second things got complicated. I'd rather be upfront from day one: what it costs, what's involved, and exactly what you're getting. No hiding behind project managers, and no surprises down the track.

Whether it's a custom home, a full extension, or a high-end kitchen or bathroom renovation, I run every project personally — from that first phone call right through to handover. What areas do you service?

Gold Coast and surrounds — from Mermaid Beach and Burleigh right up to Hope Island and beyond. If you're on the Gold Coast, chances are we cover it.

How much does a bathroom renovation cost?

It depends on your fixtures and finishes, but for the quality and craftsmanship we deliver, most bathroom renovations start from around $40,000. We'll give you a fixed, upfront quote before any work begins.

How long will my renovation take?

We guarantee your bathroom renovation will be ready to enjoy within 4 weeks* of your selections being locked in — or you get $1,000 cash back. Kitchens can take a little longer depending on custom cabinetry and sourcing, and we'll confirm your exact timeline at quote stage.

Can I stay living in my home during the renovation?

In most cases, yes. Plenty of our clients continue living in the home while we work, and we manage the site to keep disruption to a minimum.

Do I need council approval for my renovation?

Most bathroom and kitchen renovations don't require DA or BA approval, provided there are no structural changes. If your project does need approvals, we'll handle that process for you.

Will I be dealing with a project manager, or with you directly?

With me, directly. Every project is director-managed — I'm on site, across every detail, and available throughout, not handed off to a project manager or subcontractor to coordinate.

Do you offer fixed pricing, or can costs change once work starts?

We provide fixed, upfront quotes. What you're quoted is what you pay — no surprise blowouts once the job is underway.

Can I renovate my main bathroom and ensuite at the same time?

Yes — we regularly manage both at once, so you get the full transformation done together rather than dragging the process out over two separate jobs.
